• Level 100 on a Combat Class: You must have at least one combat job at the new level cap.
• Complete the Dawntrail Main Scenario Quests: The Relic questline is an endgame activity and requires you to have finished the main story.
• Complete the “One Last Hurrah” Quest: This quest, which can be picked up in Tuliyollal (X:17.1, Y:11.8), is the starting point for unlocking the Occult Crescent and the subsequent Relic Weapon questline.

• 18 Demiatma: You need three of each of the six different types of Demiatma (Azurite, Verdigris, Malachite, Realgar, Caput Mortuum, and Orpiment). These have a chance to drop from FATEs and Critical Engagements within The Occult Crescent: South Horn. Alternatively, you can farm FATEs in specific Dawntrail zones, with each zone corresponding to a different type of Demiatma.
• 1,500 Allagan Tomestones of Heliometry: You will need to purchase three Arcanite from Ermina in the Phantom Village (X:6.9, Y:7.3) for 500 Tomestones each.

Once you have gathered all the necessary materials, turn them in to the quest giver to receive your first Dawntrail Relic Weapon.

Step 2: Upgrading to the Phantom Weapon Umbrae (iLvl 760)

The second stage of the Relic quest, added in a later patch, requires a different kind of effort, focusing more on a mix of gil, crafting, and Duty Roulettes.

Part 1: Gathering Items

This phase requires you to gather five different items, which can be either purchased or crafted:

• Rroneek Glue: Purchased from Goplu in Tuliyollal for 300,000 gil.
• Ut’ohmu Siderite: Purchased from Rral Wuruq for 600 Bicolor Gemstones.
• Synthetic Dark Matter (Alpha, Beta, and Gamma): These three items are crafted using Master Recipe Tomes XII. They can also be purchased from the Market Board.

Part 2: The Aetherwell Array

This is a returning-style grind from past Relic quests. You will be tasked with filling four different “Aether” gauges to 10,000 points each by completing specific Duty Roulettes. The gauge progress is tied to the following roulettes:

You must purchase three Waxing Arcanite from Ermina in the Phantom Village for 500 Allagan Tomestones of Heliometry each, for a total of 1,500 Tomestones.
